Keyboard & Mice?

Hello!

What kind of gaming keyboard and mice would you buy these days? So far I'd like to buy:

Logitech G500s - Mice
Logitech G510s - Keyboard

Any alternatives to these?

I have a Logitech G15 keyboard and was really excited about it. I made some macros for games but after a few months I got tired of it. The lighted keyboard is dim and I never use the display. I'm looking forward to a plain keyboard again.

I also have a G5 laser mouse wish I love.

Has it improved my gaming? Can't say for sure.

I love the simplistic layout of that keyboard. It only comes with red backlight? Or can I switch it to different colours?

Logitech have great support. Probably the best in the entire peripheral market. I just find a lot of their products to be a little uninspiring.

I use a Logitech G13 gamepad for gaming instead of a keyboard. Use a Logitech G9 mouse. Like both.

Just red for this model but you can cycle through various intensities. You can also cycle through illuminating certain areas of the keyboard, like the full keyboard, WASD only, or the arrow keys only. It's neat. It's a multimedia keyboard as well. If you hold the FN key down for 3-4 seconds it will activate/deactivate the function keys (toggling between normal operation and multimedia functions).

I've seen the keyboard on sale for $50-60 in the past month or two. I paid like $75 earlier this year.
