Gaming Wireless Headset PC

I'm in the market for a new wireless headset. I currently have a wireless Logitech that does the job, but I want to get something that is more comfortable and has better sound quality. I'm willing to spend $250 to give you an idea of the price range. I've done some research and most of the headsets seemed to be geared for Xbox and what not.

The headset is strictly for gaming and for my PC. To put it simply, I'll be playing lots of BF4 and Smite in the next few months to give you an idea of what I'll be using it for.

Any suggestions?

new product just came out, their brand was popular for bluetooth (at least that's how i heard about them). its on sale for $99 and has a very cool feature that helps you switch to your phone when you get a call. now no more missed calls when you're really getting into bf4!

the reviews are good to very good and one idiot has offset this new product's true performance with a 1 star no-explanation rating. it has 23 "downvotes" and most likely is not a real consumer of the product. the reviews for this on other sites are really good and they say it handles multiple channels and mixing of audio well, good sound, and the cool feature that lets you seamlessly switch to answer a call.

i am thinking of getting this for the winter holiday aka ask gf for it haha

That is a pretty slick looking product with loads of features.

Plantronics has been around for a good while - I have bought wired headsets from them before.

I personally use a Logitech G930 headset. I love it. It does not have the function the above one does.

The current price point for a solid headset seems be between 80-120 right now. You could spend more, but your bang for buck decreases rapidly after that price point. You could spend less, but of course the quality starts to drop.
