No LOL... I cashed in on a little of my 401K. I did some minor home remodeling and bought a few four wheelers and a big screen. I donated what was left to The Shriner's Children's hospital.

Nice Choice. Samsung is a good mfg, and LCD is way better than Plasma IMHO. You didn't make a bad decision.

You can't go wrong with a Sammy. Personally, I bought a 42" 1080p Vizio around Christmas time. I absolutely love it. The only downside is the contrast ratio is not as good as some of the better models. But I only paid $1,000, so who's complaining?
I was leery of the Vizio at first, simply because it appears to be one of the cheaper brands. But I did a ton of research and read a lot of reviews. Inch for inch and dollar for dollar, the Vizio is one of the best deals available.
Like someone else said, I think the Sony XBR has the best overall picture.

I bought a 40" Samsung in November for $650.00 and a 32" Vizio for $250.00.

Excellent. You'll be happy with LCD. We have a 42" in our bedroom, I have a 15" in my office, and a 6" in the kitchen (under cabinet). Living room is a 56" rear-projection HD, pretty happy with that too. I really don't have an opinion on plasma and don't know anyone that owns one.[SIZE=1][B]"Now more than ever the people are responsible for the character of their Congress.
