AV cable to S-video OR component?

where can i find one? or even make one if i have to wire it myself?

Wal mart has those converter thingies. Looks like an upright modem that switches between different modes of input/output. I forget what they are called. It'll be over there in the section where the Cable TV and S-Video cables are. It is a black and gray box that has different ports on it.

    Here is something similar

    http://www.amazon.com/RCA-CRF940-Mod.../dp/B00008X5DD

These are anywhere from 8-30 dollars at wally world, though you might not see this particular model.

Then there are more expensive but fancier options like the Pelican Pro

Here's a list from worst to best when it comes to connections,

      Composite
      S Video
      Scart
      Fully Wired Scart
      Component
      DVI/HDMI

What exactly are you trying to do Littlev?

Unless you can't avoid it, I would not go with the S-Video. The newest model TVs and Receivers no longer have jacks for that particular connection. Which is a shame if that's the best that one's video component can put out if they have something older, but it seems the HDMI and Component connections have pushed it out.

Are you looking to go from DVI to componet? If thats the case you can easily get one at a local electronics store. How about a lil more detail on exactly what your hooking up to what.

no, AV cable to s-video, component, composite, dvi, OR vga. My video card can take on any of those connections, i just need to get from AV to any of those.

This is what I used for my (unfinished) mini lcd project:

                Adapter

It lets you take the S-video port on your video card and hook a regular video (rca) cable to it.

What I'm doing is plugging this into the back of my video card. I pass a cable through the back of the pc to the circuit board of the 6" lcd. Then in the video settings I set the lcd up as a second monitor and run dual view.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
