Im looking for a amd X2 socket 939 cpu. Something like the X2 5200. Anyone have one for sale?

Just pricing it out now, you can get a new Low-end C2D chip, 2GB of RAM (decent G.SKILL stuff) and a decent Gigabyte mobo for under $250. I doubt you'd be able to find a new s939 chip for that price, and even if you do, those newer components would smoke it handily. The march of technology continues my friend

yeah that sux! I have 2 socket 939 boards that need chips. I was going to try and put a faster 939 chip in one of them...but with the prices ive seen on ebay I think i will just grab 2 AMD 64 3500+ chips

I recommend the 4400+. I still run it in my gaming machine and probably won't do any upgrade until I build my next which may be an AM2 CPU.[IMG]http://thepebkac.net/images/sigs/Outdoors_sig.jpg[/IMG]
