    Zalman gaming mouse.

I'm not sure if I would like one of these but I found it interesting.

It reminds me of a joystick.

I didn't read the entire article, but it seems that one would have to move a good part of their forearm / arm to get this thing moving and would end up causing some hurt in the wrist.

I guess you gotta have some people pushing the market and trying new things, else we would never evolve.
[this is where my funky sig would go. But I don't have one.
So all you get is this crappy text]

I like new techs and all, but I don't think I'd use that thing.

Yeah, innovation is good. But this is just change for change's sake. I've been seeing these "better" gaming mice since the dawn of the FPS genre (going on about 10-12 years now), and yet the good ol' standard mouse still reigns supreme. And yes, even that has changed over the years, but the underlying control scheme remains intact (no matter how many buttons or wheels they glue on).

The thing that i thought was cool was that it seems that you are using a different muscle group. I don't think I would pay $ for this but I would love to try it out.

                      SEE-

This is EXACTLY why some people should not be forced to become engineers. Double you tee eff em eff err , followed up by Does your family know what the hell is wrong with you- because we dont is what went through my mind.

The second thing was "where do I put my hand?"

When I went to page two I realized that only midgets who work in a closet under pressure in the skunk works development dept at Zalman could use this device, and that manly hands like mine not only couldn't fit into this device, but would not be caught dead using it either.

I've seen mice like this before. They are supposed to be easier on the hand/wrist because you hold your hand in a more natural position, like holding a gun or joystick. I don't know how it would work IRL, especially since we've all gotten used to using standard mice.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
