Hey guys....
I just moved back from Germany and settled into my new house. After unpacking my computer I learned that SOMEHOW my Mobo, graphics card and GPU no longer functioned!. So I went to COMP USA who is going out of buisness here in Utah, Anyway they had a 90% off sale on there last day open and I ended up snagging :
P5KPL-VM mobo
BFG 8800GT OC2 GPU
TR2-430W Thermaltake PSU
all for 300$
I have everything installed and running and ran a 3Dmark 06 and was only able to pull down 6948
My CPU is a pentium D 2.8 @ 3.1 and I have 2 gigs of samsung RAM @800mhz
would it be worth going for new RAM and cpu? would I even see that much more of a difference?
I am currently (as of today!!!) COD4 ready and played 1 online round and was pulling 80-110 fps on max settings.
does this sound right?
