Hey all
I'm posting this from my old gaming computer (which has a x800 gto ATI, hehe) from our new TV which is in the living room (it is 46 inches)
I am having some problems with the right resolution. What resolution should I be running this at? I tried to set it at 1920x1080, but when I did that, there were parts that I could not see on the screen. When I moved around with the mouse, it would scroll the screen to where the mouse was, but then there was more missing from the screen. I tried to set it up in the TV options, and the only options that I can pick from are 16:9 and 4:3. And I want 16:9. Also, on the TV settings, if I tried to move the computer input around, anywhere that I moved it from the starting position was black space.
Right now, the resolution is @ 1600x1200. Everything seems quite wide lol, and I can see that the aspect is 4:3 based on the res. But if I set it to a widescreen res, I can't see the whole desktop on the screen unless I move the cursor to where I cannot see, and then the opposite part of the screen I would not be able to see.
Urgh.
Thanks for reading please help, I'm pretty sure at least 1 of you guys (mike?) has an entertainment PC out on his regular TV.
