They look fine to me. Some guys like them a bit lower but when my laptop runs at 85 while gaming those temps below 60 don't seem all that high.

Different apps have different temps sometimes the temps from the NVidia monitoring program are 7 to 10 degrees higher. I wish i could remember the program that I used but I'm not home until Wednesday. I have been using the CPU plug in with RivaTuner for my CPU temps while gaming.

Have fun with the new MB.

      Well I overclocked my e6600 to 2.85Ghz.

The temps under 100% workload came out to be 59 degrees, and I told myself I wouldn't overclock any over that at full load.

      It idles at 37 degrees...

I did pump it up to 3.00Ghz, but when it went on full load the temps skyrocketed up to 70 degrees! No way I'm running it at that...

I'm hoping once the thermal paste sets in the temps will drop a few degrees and maybe I will bump it up to 3.0 for good, but for now this seems fine.

One strange thing though, I was using the Windows Experience Index (which rates your components on a 5.9 scale in order to benchmark them) and even at the 3.0 Ghz, my processor score still remained at 5.3 (which it has always been), while my memory score (which was at 5.5) went up to 5.9. Kind of strange, but I wish I could bump my processor score up to 5.9, because now everything else is a 5.9 and it is a bottleneck.

I think the way the rating system works is by Hardware ID not what ur actual speed is because when I oc'd my q6600 from 2.4 to 3.6 it stayed the same as well...I could be wrong though

It would make sense if that were true, but it says it actually 'tests' the CPU during the testing
