    Sorry imlittlev, back to your original question. I looked at the camera you referenced and it's looks fine. If you look at samsung's website you get a better sales pitch with details.

      You know imlittlev, after taking a second look at that camera, you may have found a winner (especially for the price)

      There's some photos in there as well, and they are almost universally sharp, clear and lack overt color noise (except in the high speed ISO range, which is to be expected). There is a bit of jpg compression on the photos that is affecting the color, but you'll get that with any budget camera. I'd say if I had your budget and this was one of my few options, you could do much worse
