Which 9800GTX Video card ???

I would buy the slowest one and overclock it to the speeds of the fastest one. I haven't had time to read up on the 9800 cards so I don't know if they OC well or not.

After looking at that lis I realized that there are several cards there. I would get this one.

Now that's strange! Normally when size difference is apparent in the same model of cards it's due to the OEM handle thingy. I'd shoot an email off to them as it can't be right.

Is 10" a problem? Surely it'll fit no problem.

Hmmm interesting. I checked the PDF sheet this moring and they say that they are 9 inches long. But when i compare them with the specs they are 10.5 except the one that says it's 7.8 That would make it shorter then my GTS. Something is fishy about these specs.



Edit I just found a thread about this on the EVGA forums. Ther was no official word but it seems to be a typo. I also pulled this quote from it LOL.

They need to put like the John Holmes seal of approval on any card longer than 9" so us ppl with a small box have fair warning.

Ive been goin to tomshardware for a while now to check up on whats new and whats nurfed. From what ive seen the 9800 is just an 8800 with a new name.
