I just bought an Antec 900 for my first "build" and it is awsome!! I dont think I would have paid 130$ for it but I got it @ 50% off due to open box at best buy and in my opinion its worth every cent of the MSRP, I just got really lucky I guess.

After working in my little HP media center PC case and now in the antec, I will never go for anything less.

Considering the design thats a steal for 120ish dollars. Ive paid more for server cases that could not pack that kinda quiet cooling.

It is super quiet!! I have all 3 120mm and the 1 200mm set to high and I hardly notice it at all. It keeps everything very cool.

I have 2 of these in my current case

          http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811999344

And if i turn them on high the case leaves the ground and my eardrums pop. but with a fan speed control i hardly notice them over the hard drives.

I briefly considered the Antec 900 when I built my last, but it looked too much like a dust collector to really draw me in. I love having dust filters in my rigs, and the Antec P190B has two over each of the 120 front fans, so that and its chambered design were the big selling points.

I wished I could have scrounged up the extra $80 for the Special Edition with a painted interior, but in the end it wouldn't have been worth it since its hidden away in my hutch.

I usualy just add filters to my systems. Saves me from having to blow them out as often.

in a modern gaming case I look for functionality and air flow, air flow, air flow. I just took this pic today to show someone on another forum. and yes, I have no fan on my video card and CPU cooler.

I didn't see an option that fit my thinking so I didn't vote.

Nice setup. That hard drive rack is killing your airflow thou.. Not sure why manufacturers have to turn the things like that, it just makes the front fan work harder.

I'm using one of these as well. I really like it. The only drawback IMO is that it isn't made to easily hide the wires.

                      not so.

a)the hard drives need to get cooled.

b)if you put your hand behind the hard drives plenty of air is passing through them. by behind I mean between the HD rack and the motherboard.

c)you can't tell in that picture. I have another 120mm fan that is at the front of the case above my optical drive

by turning the hard drives "like that. it allows the cabling to be put to the side where it doesn't interfere with air flow.

also, you may notice that I have no fan on my CPU, video card or northbridge. my CPU is overclocked from 1.83 to 2.80 GHz. that wouldn't work very well without good air flow.

I just buy it cause I have the $$ to buy good ones and as long as it fits my GPU and HS plus all the xtra wiring from my PSU without causing too much of a cramp, then I dont care the cost or Maker

So let me throw it out there a different way then:

With so many products out there touting so many things- how do you start from a first frame selection process?

                              First frame refers to foundation.

It used to be what processor you were going to use, because of all the odd stupid shapes and sizes of the motherboard
What is the core 1st tier differentiation mark today?

For me is all about Airflow and wether or not it will give me enough room after my Massive HS and Chipset coolers r in ontop of mah GPU and PSU...I love OC'n so keepin mah system cool and a constant flow of air is my #1 priority

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
