Help with Heatsink and fan/ graphics card

As some of you know I have just completed my first PC build from the ground up and It has definetly been fun, BUTTTT the stock heatsink/fan is annoyingly loud when it fires up to about 2200 rpm. I need something that is as quiet as my case fans yet will keep my cpu cool while being overclocked to 4ghz.

    Specs are:

    Antec nine hundred case
    E8400 3.0ghz @3.6ghz
    2 gigs 1x2 800mhz RAM
P5KPL-VM MB (will be replacing with 780i board in the next month or so)
    430W thermaltake PSU
    BFG 8800GT OC2

With the new MB I am planning on adding another 8800gt
are there aftermarket fans for the 8800's that will work in SLi and what fan should I be looking at for my CPU? I would like to keep it under 60$ if possible.
Here's some pics of the case for sizing purposes.

I have been using this for my CPU and I am very happy with it. I haven't used an after market fan for my GPUs but I added a side fan that lowered my temps a bit.

3 part post on current cpu coolers. the first post was a lil scary with so many failures. But they dont sugar coat much on there site, which is why i go there.

Before you run out and buy a new hs/fan check your airflow. to much in 1 place and not enough in another can kill your cooling. Also did you use the cheapo paste that came with the cpu cooler or do you have something with silver or even diamond paste that you used.

lil editing but just noticed your post duke.

looks like a nice cooler. in the end it can be a crapshoot. ive learned to read around and just take the good and bad with a lil salt and know that even a perfect part can ruin my whole day.

as for the gpu have you checked in nvidia control panel to see what speed your fans are running at. on my 8800 gts (g92) the stock speed settings are kinda lacking the system will actualy throttle down before the fan picks up enough speed to cool it on games like crysis. so i manualy set it to 50% speed and i cant hear the fan but it will keep my gpu in the 60's C.

If you dont have a manual fan speed control id think about 1. ive noticed speeding up 1 fan in the back and slowing a front fan down can have a big impact on cooling. I also have an 80mm fan on my side door blowing onto my stock cpu cooler and a 120mm that i added into my acrylic window blowing onto my gpu.

Arctic Cooler Freezer Pro 7 from Ewiz. Its around $26 and is well regarded as one of the best low priced coolers.

I use one similar to Duke's but it is 110 mm. I have a large case though.

It has a 250mm fan in the side door.

on a side note. 2 8800GT's in SLI are going to bring that PSU to it's knees.

It's extremely cheap and does a great job at cooling. Even better than some coolers that are priced twice as much, especially the Zalman range (but they do look cool). The only way your going to get better than a ACFPro is if you start looking into Scythe Ninjas, Tuniq Towers, Thermalright Ultras, but they're considerably more expensive.

I have a Zalman 9700. It works great, fits in the Antec 900 case, and glows the same blue as the fans in the case.

They work good, but not when a price/performance ratio is used. The other 3 coolers i suggested are the best around, yet cost less than the Zalmans.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
