Guys me and my dad are trying to do the whole blu-ray/hd-dvd disk computer for our high def TV, and in some guide to do this, it basically said that if you used a DVI to VGA connector it would reduce the quality and it would not be HD anymore. I searched some more on this and found
Thats basically saying the opposite.
Which is true??
Code:
VGA supports high resolutions. Your HDTV is still playing catch up to the VGA resolution capabilities. So stick to the VGA if everything is looking sharp and clear. VGA can support higher resolutions then 1080p (1920x1080) which is the highest resolutions HDTV set you can buy. So VGA will live on in the future if your friend chooses to upgrade his TV set to a new 1080P set.
