You could get it already by downloading the file or manually running Windows Updates. I've been running it for months with no problems.

Hmmm... so what did I download? I have a copy XP SP3 in my hands right now.

It's going on Automatic Updates so everyone who has that turned on gets it. It's been available for a while before this if you downloaded it or did a manual Windows Update.

I ran sp3 for about a month and just recently had to remove it. I was having boot-up issues where my computer would hang at the login screen and then I'd manually have to start processes once I logged in. Luckily I was able to remove it... I hope they've fixed a few things in this latest release.
