DX11 ... a MUST HAVE for every gamer ... *snicker*
I envision Win 7 being a number of the missing components that were stripped out of Vista. Vista' enhancements were mostly 'under the hood', so to an average user it was a non-essential upgrade to their home PC. There was NO compelling reason to upgrade !!
The thing that ticked me off the most from Vista was the removal of the Live Anywhere feature that offered to do what Steam was going to do soon after .. bring gamers together to offer up a 'Friends' list, offer chat and a 'Games for Windows' list of games that were guaranteed to be hassle-free. It never materialized, and the X-Box continued to be trumpeted as the way to play cooperatively with friends ...Oh if a man tried to take his time on Earth and prove before he died what one man's life could be worth, well I wonder what would happen to this world ? - Harry Chapin -

BK, I agree completely with you, but I've always wished MS would treat is gamers better than it does, and by gamers I mean PC gamers, not its Halo fanatics that wouldn't know a good FPS if it shot them in the face.
What is the attraction to that game ?? It honestly looks so bad compared to most FPS games that I just ... don't .... get ... it.

ya halo is over rated. I have played it, its pretty repetitive, kind of like cs. Thats basically it but its sci fi.
