    SNMP monitor suggestions?

I am looking for an open source SNMP monitoring tool similar to Lithium for Mac. Any Suggestions? I would like to help monitor the servers at work and unfortunately I don't have a mac..... I'm running Windows XP and Fedora 8. Any suggestions would be helpful!!! Thanks

Yeah I got a ton of suggestions for all types of monitoring

    For snmp look into Cacti

Cacti: The Complete RRDTool-based Graphing Solution

Or more limited check out mtrg

MRTG - Tobi Oetiker's MRTG - The Multi Router Traffic Grapher

Also one of the coolest apps for monitoring anything in anyway is Nagios

    Nagios: Home

For network bandwidth stuff use Ntop

    Welcome to ntop.org

    For IDS use snort

Intrusion Prevention and Detection Systems : IPS : IDS | Sourcefire

for Network topology I learned about netdisco. That is one cool piece of software

    http://www.netdisco.org/

I know that's more than than you asked for but all of those apps rock and are open source.

One quick note if you find yourself using Nagios look into NagiosQL very handy tool for managing Nagios stuff.

            Sure I'll help you debug.

First place I'd look is the apache logs. Usually under /var/log/apache/ or could be under /var/www/logs. Look into the access and error logs. Could be a permission error on the file

Also one more thing comes to mind. You sure you have .php defined in your apache config. Although it would display the text fof the php file if this wasn't the case

More and more sounds like a permission error.

Try specifying the login page. If not specified apache maybe looking for index.html. If that doesn't exist that's why your connecting and getting nothing...Almost 100% sure. Look into the directory and see what the file is called and specify it on the url in the browser i.e

http://localhost/cacti/login.php or whatever the file is called also could try main.php

Think that should fix the problem.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
