    Random Game Crash

I just built myself a new computer with Vista and I'm getting random game crashes with COD4

I had XP64 bit on the old machine and ran it fine

It will go for an hour or 2 then it shuts the game down there is an error message and no solutions online from Microsoft

I was just wondering if anyone else has any experience with this problem thanks

Post the error message. I'm trying to read your mind on what it says, but hitting too much interference from cell towers and whatnot.

Possible corrupt install of the game or driver issue imo. Best to start with reinstalling the game then trying a different graphics driver. Remember that the latest drivers are not necessarily the best, and they won't work for everybody.

I have this same problem with my 64 vista. All I did was update PB, update Nvidia's drivers, and restart. It seemed to work fine after that. P.S. Update everything, this game is a bit glitchy when it comes to this updating crap,,,, when will they make auto update!!! lol. See ya in HC if it does work

I have a Vista64 machine and I just had to get used to the occasional crashes.

I've been using vista 64 on my new machine for a good 4 months and 0 CoD4 crashes yet. The problem might be somewhere else - drivers, etc.
