I think my next thing to try would be checking to see if each stick of RAM is good, and then swapping out the power supply. After that I'd still take a good look at the video card as the problem.
Sorry I couldn't get to you sooner MGS, but as many of you know I work IT, and the problem your having is an overheating/faulty PSU. Try blowing the dust out of the PSU directly (With Compressed Air), or try swapping the PSU with a spare. My guess is that under load the PSU is overheating, but it could also just be faulty, or it could even be a bad power cable. (I know how it sounds but if the above doesn't work try swapping out the power cable)
We checked the PSU and the vid card and they are good. So the question is, is it my ram? I have 2 512 sticks and is it unusual for both to go at the same time like this?
Now it won't turn on though, it just keeps shutting on and off.
So go on, go on be your own, go on be your own star!
A superstar in my eyes!
