New version of GPU-Z out - features monitor info as well

    http://www.techpowerup.com/wizzard/G...nitorinfo2.exe

Nice lil tool to add to the tech arsenal. This features support for identifying your monitor, as well as all the details for your video card such as clock speeds and firmware version. As far as monitor support, it shows manufacturing dates, gamma settings and even the serial number !

    WT gives it up.

Oh nice, think the last version I had was .9 cause they didn't seem to be actually doing much with updates, lol.

I don't think I have used GPU Z. I know I have CPU Z somewhere. When ever I get home I will look into this. The monitor info is pretty cool.

Sage...as in someone who is wise and you ask questions to. Not sarge as in a military rank :P It's been like that forever.

Ryan, I'm not a mod .. I just bought that title for a fair sum of money

This guy developing this is the same one responsible for ATI Tools, so it looks like he's switched gears and is putting his time into GPU-Z, so expect ATI Tools to not have any updates for a while as a result.
I mainly use this tool to determine video capabilities on customer PCs that I work on. No need to crack open the case and examine the card when this tool does that for you.

PS - yes, I am indeed a mod, but custom titles is not one of my mod abilities.

The Sage title kicks in at 500 posts I think.

The main reason i have tended to use it is because i always seem to forget which driver revision i'm using.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
