Anit-Virus? lol I haven't had any of those things in 5 years and NOTHING has happened yet... even thou I download from P2P all the time... Uses too much ram, uses your CPU to run crap you dont need, like checking ur comp every 10 minutes... Here is my motto

How do you know that you don't have a virus? Not all of them let themselves be known.

As for me not having viruses... I simply don't care... if you have handled as many viruses as I did, then you would know if you had them or if you simply dont have any.

Actually, turning it off regularly does more damage than leaving it on. Computer components heat up a lot, think turning a light on and off.... the expansion then contraction eventually breaks down certain parts.
Unless you run programs or operating systems with memory leaks, or other progressive failures, its better to just leave it on
