i finally got my mic to work but now when i talk in-game or in ventrilo it transmits my voice and any other sound my computer plays. iv tried used speakers, headphones, no speakers. and it still transmits all sounds and they over power my voice. i have no idea how to fix this so if anyone can help asap that would be great

Can you select a different playback device in windows under start/control panel/sounds and audio devices/audio tab ? So use the mic to record and a different playback if you have it. Other wise don't know? -
