Laptop, HDMI cable and 52" LCD

I just got me a 35' HDMI cable from monoprice.com. I did this cause the 2.5 update to the PS3 disappointed me with hulu.com and not being able to full screen it without zooming in.
I got the cable today, hooked up my laptop to my 52" LCD and ooooo baby. hulu looks great.
By the way, monoprice rocks for cable prices.
The other sites I checked were wanting around 150 to 200 bucks for the same length cables. I found a cnet.com review that pointed me in the monoprice direction and it is so nice to find a down to earth place that you can get stuff at a realistic price instead of the way over priced junk like monster cable that is impossible for human eyes or ears to tell a difference in.

This weekends project is getting the HTPC hoked back up to the plasma, so you've now got me psyched to make this darn thing work one way or another. It looks like I tossed the ATI input adapter that was in the box with the ATI HDTV cap card that I use, so I should be smacked for not making sure I had removed all the items from the box before tossing it !!

My wife just loves when I get some hairbrained idea on what to do next with my computers, so I floated the idea of putting rear jacks in the wall for the surround speakers which was met with a firm stare and a casual side to side headshake, soooo ... I think that means no from past experiences.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
