    Financial software

    I have been using quicken 2000 for quite a while and I it suits my needs. Today I was looking for the disk to install it on my new laptop and I can't find it. The last time I looked into upgrading there some annual fee that was required which I think is bogus. Here is what I'm looking for.

    * No annual fee
    * Manage my bank accounts
    * Be able to search these accounts for budgeting an tax purposes.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I use Money 2007. No annual fee, and it can link with bank accounts. I don't use most of the major features though, like linking credit cards to everything. It's all there, I'm just too lazy to figure out how to do it all.

    EDIT: I don't THINK it has an annual fee. It occurs to me that if you take full advantage of the account linking, that may trigger something, but since I don't use that feature I just don't know. For what I use it for, there's no fee involved.

      I don't use the advanced features so I will look into Money.

        I use Quicken and Quickbooks. Quicken doesn't have any annual fees that I am aware of. The only annual fee I have with Quickbooks is my payroll subscription.
