Seagate hard drive

What do you guys think of Seagate hard drives? Specifically Seagate Barracuda 500GB SATA 32MB Hard Drive? Its on Woot today and im thinking about getting it for the desktop I wanna build.

Its a recertified drive on Woot. I like seagate but I wouldn't touch a recertified drive.

I have 2 Barracuda 500GB SATA 32MB and 1 T1 Barracuda 500GB SATA 32MB and i have never had a problem with anyone of them

Recert = already had a problem with it.

Its like buying a recertified helmet for a motorcycle. It had a slight problem with the last owner, so we cleaned it and buffed the road scars right out, but its yours for a super low price !!

Very good points guys. I think im going to pass on it since it is recert and pull the old one out of my dad's old PC and maybe use that.

I had my first RMA/recert. drive experience two weeks ago with Seagate. I had sent in a 320gb unit and rcived a 400gb unit in return. Thought, oh cool, until I read the sticker on it saying 'Seagate Recertified' which gave me the bad news.
