Go to Newegg.com and look threw there motherboards...
Ive learned that advice here might narrow it down but its best to look for exactly what your looking for.
Egg has pretty much every motherboard you could want.

Tons of ppl review the boards and there is links to manufacturer websites. I usualy take my time and read up on the manufacturer forums to see what bugs are present so i know what ill be getting into.

My advice for an NVIDIA chiped Intel board would be the
Evga 750I FTW and they also make a crippled model for like 50$ less.

I never took the time to research the intel based motherboards because im going SLI so ill just list the nvidia based motherboard i went with. There are far more expensive models but unless your goin with triple SLI you would never need them.

    EVGA 750I FTW

Well I have new experience with 680i chipset. My current rig is an nForce 4 lol and my new rig will be a 750I.
But from what i can see from stats the only major difference is that a newer board will support newer versions of intel CPU's.
Im probably wrong, maybe someone with better info then myself will pop up.

As for a case there are tons of them to choose from on newegg just look in your price range and go threw the pictures they provide.
Heck if you have a decent computer store near you like Compusa go look at there cases.
Usually you can get the same cases that brick and mortar stores have for less online with shipping.

Here is the case i went with.. Its a full tower but its smaller then my older full towers, I actually looked at them in a compusa.

          Thermaltake Armor Full Tower

          Newegg price = $139.99 + $30 mail in rebate
Compusa price = $169.99 and no rebate

Nice choice, and you are buying one, if not, the top board available with all of the bells and whistles.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
