    Apple says: Use antivirus...and lots of it!

    But very very quietly....don't want people thinking our "invulnerable" products could have any security flaws like Windows....

    I always thought Mac's were bullet proof. Well, that's what their users normally say.

        lol that is total propaganda, ive gotten viruses on macs before, one of them deleted my ENTIRE HARD DRIVE and when i started the computer after that it said "You have been Pwnt by AnThRaX mUfFiNz, have a nice life"

          To be honest though the lion's share of virus's are on Windows because they're the largest platform...

                      yaa... at work we require anti-virus protection on all macs... mostly to protect the other computers (windows) from mac users accidentally forwarding on viruses to windows users. But since I'm really cheap we use clamXAv (which is a mac port of the linux ClamAV anti-virus from linux)... it seems to work pretty well.
