NEVER NEVER NEVER BUY A MACHINE FROM THESE CROOKS!!!!!!!!!!

They sell you a piece of crap, charge you to ship it back for repairs, send it back literally falling apart and then have the balls to yell at you because you rip them on review web sites.

Do an archive search here for ibuypower and you will see my whole experience.
    No then?

Barebones sounds good. But at least try and find a Intel based setup.

Why? AMD chipsets do just fine for gaming and are less expensive... You don't need 120fps to enjoy a game, anything above 60fps is just fine and AMD can deliver that easily in most cases.

Also, for the IBUYPOWER post... In case anybody is wondering why rico would say that... here it is...

        http://www.resellerratings.com/store/iBUYPOWER

You have to skip the 1st 15 pages or so of reviews written by people who work for ibuypower and then start reading the next 50 or so pages of people ripping them. Mine is by GDavis on page 16.

And in case you forgot.... no. You'd be better off sending the money to Cain and wailing yourself in the head with a hammer till all the spinning colors in the room began to look like Crysis.

Jeffro I just hopped on Dell and priced this one out for ya. It's $799.00 for this quad core sytem with a monitor. There are video upgrade options but I'm unfamiliar with them.

One thing to consider when buying a Dell is that the XPS systems have better tech support.

That's true. But if you do have a PC that can run a game at 120fps instead of a AMD based system that runs the same game at 60fps. The latter will need to be upgraded sooner.

It is hard for me to judge all of your prices so i do my best by basing them on ours. AMD's equivilent chips are not that much cheaper than Intel's here. Maybe ?10-15 at most.

When I look here it's a bit more then that... after I did the math it comes to be about $50 or so difference at least.
