Ipod trouble

hey yall i know its been a while since i posted anything but i need some help with my ipod see heres what happened i was in my 7th period class playing a game on my ipod (our teacher lets us)an today we were going outside to day just to hang out and i turned off my ipod and when i got outside it turned my ipod on but the screen didnt light up and the speaker of the clicking sound was going so i pressed the center button a few times and then it quit i tried charging it but that did work an i plugged it in2 my computer to see if i would open my Itunes account but it didnt work can some1 plz help me?!.

P.S i havint even had thing for a year.

hold the play+menu buttons for 5seconds and it should reset your ipod, at least that's what i do whenever its acting up.

It is more like a hard restart, not reset, because you don't lose anything on it.

It is quite helpful, and not too widely known.

its ok recon buddy lucky my grandparents got a 2 year warrenty incase i did go out they can try 2 fix it if not i might have 2 get a new 1 but like i said on the quote thank you for all your help and merry christmas early.
