Hey guys:
Some of you may know me, some of you may not. But I used to be an old regular here in Cain's Lair a few years back back when their DoD (not the Source!) server was active.
Long story short, this place somewhat faded away from my view since the DoD server was down 2 years back, but a nice guy from this site added me onto the Cain's Lair Community (Groups) on Steam, and I managed to keep in touch with the community (somewhat).
Well now, about 1 1/2 years have passed and now Im a soph in high school, working my butt off.........but I find times during the weekends to just release the stress and play some PC games. One day, this site again came to my mind and I seriously thought about dropping by and say hi. I still see some old people from the older in days in this community still around.
Recently, I purchased CS:S from Circuit City during this year's Black Friday, and I took the advantage of their going-out-of-business sale to get a 20% discount (orig price was $19.99, do the math ). So now, along with CS, I now hold DoD:S. However, my comp cannot support the graphics (my current comp was purchased in '04, and I'd need hardware upgrades to play both of those), and I believe my graphics are screwed over from some freak incident while playing CS 1.6 earlier this year (need help on that, BTW).
So wanted to drop by and say hi to all of you guys. Hope to see you guys around!
