Hi peoples,
figured I'd stop by here and say hi, introduce myself. I played WoW since closed beta for about 3 years before I finally got tired of the way Blizzard was moving PvP (sorry, World PvP > instanced PvP). Kind of got out of gaming for the past year or so even though I've tried to find something else to play. PS3, Wii, PC... nothing really held my interest.
I've been playing TF2 for about a month now, though I'd had the game for over a year. Coming from CS 1.6, I had a hard time getting adjusted to this game and gave up on it after spending maybe two hours ingame. Was having a bad day few weeks ago, wanted to log in to a friend's steam account for some mindless zombie killing, but he was already on... so logged in to my steam account and there TF2 was... what the heck? I figured I'd give it another go. And here I am. Addicted.
It's been fun playing on this server, it's pretty nice for a pub. I've even recruited a couple buddies to get TF2 and play here as well. You'll often see me running around as Heavy with my dedicated healbot, aka Freshmaker! Forgive him if he doesn't heal you, he really is pretty devoted to keeping me alive (even though I suck!).
Alright, well I've gotta head out to the gym now. But I should be online later tonight. Cy'all!

I'll bug Fresh at work tomorrow to post on the forums. He's brand new to TF2 as well. He seems to really enjoy playing medic... much to my heavy's delight!
