I'm a PC gamer from way back, but the time and effort needed to keep a PC gaming rig pushing frames drove me to the XBOX 360 for the past 4 years. But...I recently convinced the wife to let me use some tax refund money to buy a new iCore7 rig with an ATI Radeon HD 5870, and get back to my PC gaming roots.
I used to work with Cain, and have kept in touch through LinkedIn, Facebook, etc, and when I told him I had a new PC coming, he hounded me mercilessly to buy BFBC2 and the Vietnam add ( says he so he could kick my azz). So here I am - I went on Cain's Lair first time Saturday night and DID get me azz kicked, but still had fun. It was nice not to hear constant blathering from kids like you get on XBOX Live.
If you see my "soldier name" Savage1159 on the server, feel free to say hi. I hope to learn the maps and game modes quickly so I at least won't be a liability to my team in the coming weeks. P.S. Whomever hopped in my chopper, sorry for killing us all - I coldn't figure out how to fly the dang thing with a mouse
