The Battlefield 1 Open Beta Starts on August 31

Having all sorts pf trouble trying to connect to a game this afternoon. Tried Match Maker for both Rush and Conquest. Then tried the server browser. Everything I try to connect to eventually says - Could not join server.

check your video card updates. I had to do that for alpha.

Cain I you should be in my list. I played last night but was really tired so i wasn't on for very long.

You can only attack someone with the sword from the right side...damn guy.

Since today is the beginning of open public beta, EA/Dice might be overwhelmed.

I'm trying right now to open Origin. Nope. Can't do it.

It played great last night. My video card is almost always up to date. NVidea gforce is always reminding me when new drivers are available.

I see two friends playing. One on rush, one on conquest. But, I cannot get on-line. This might mean EA will extend the beta by a day or two. We won't know because the end date is unspecified.

DDoS from a group calling themselves Puddlecorp is apparently the reason for the server issues.

How are you going to hype the game so much and then use crappy servers to have us test it out. Classic EA/Dice release all over again.

I could not logon to Origin either last night. I hope to play tonight hurricane permitting.
Paceman, are you prepared for Hermine? We are right in the centerline of the track. 70 mph winds and 5 inches of rain expected.

I hope so. We are on high ground in Tally. Had a couple of old trees removed last month, so hopefully nothing will fall on us. Cars are gassed up. Found my extension cords to run to the portable generator.
