I just played on a Hardcore server.

Several setting were turned off that made the experience a whole lot better.

These are the setting that I noticed.
FF on
No Mini map
No notifications of your kill or damage you do, including vehicles.
The damage must be changed as well.

I was thinking the same thing because on one round I thought I remembered kill cams but the next there weren't. I went back to that server and discovered some maps were really hardcore and some were vanilla. I'm not sure if they are doing this on purpose or if they are on a learning curve. Either way it's a good sign for the game.

I wont be playing HC anymore until there are autokicks from the server implemented for consistent TKs. I've died more to allies than I have to the enemy in 99% of my matches. And to make things worse, they don't even know they're Tking b/c there is no kill log or pop up in the middle of their screen and MOST people have chat turned off or COMPLETELY ignore it.

I said it before and I'll say it again. Who at EA sits around and makes decision on stuff that goes in the game. How on earth anyone could agree to some of the stuff they have in HC is ludicrous. It's not even fun. Cant tell when you kill someone at a distance. Cant tell if you kill team mates. The list goes on. I think some of the people from Infinity Ward have infiltrated the BF series. Some of the stuff they are doing in this game kills me. This has got to be the worst gameplay that Dice has ever put out. How stupid can anyone be sitting around discussing some of these ideas. And dont get me started on trying to join a friend with that console bs they have going in the so called browser. Need a freakin PhD to figure out how to even join a friend. That, and the medal system is totally stupid. Just giving someone 6 days to complete a medal group is really some kinda stupid. Not everyone can be on their computer 24/7. I just dont understand what they are thinking. But there is exactly zero good so far other than when you finally get to play with friends. Other than that, it's a crap shoot.

Dice and EA better get their crap to gether. I've seen more hackers in this BF series than the last 4 put together. And thats saying something. WHY ? It's because they know there are no admins in sight to punish them that's why. Fairfight sucks and takes a long time to catch someone. If it even catches them then. If admins were present this would be 10 time better than it is now. But EA thought it was a good idea not to have admins, when admins have worked for decades. BUMBLING FREAKIN IDIOTS. THE LOT OF EM.
