Computer needs for BF3?

I haven't seen minimum's for BF3 computer hardware yet. Anyone hear what they might be?

Running a dual core/XP right now and 48xx ATI card.
Not even doing a great job with Vietnam right now, so building a new rig before BF3 pops.

Recommendations?

Vietnam isn't a game to benchmark in. I have a 480 and it still doesn't do as well as I thought it would. First Crysis is still my benchmark. BF3 is 8 months away so that means 4 new nVidia generations and 2 ATi models. A month before BF3 would be great to build a new PC. I might build one too, mine is a year old now.

Nobody knows but the rumor is that the new version of Frostbite will only be slightly more h/w intensive than the current version.

Well fardles.. I was hoping to justify going all in on all the bells and whistles NOW.. lol

But your right, they will have faster/better stuff coming out before then, and the hottest stuff NOW will be half the cost THEN.
