Last time I started 4 different soldiers, each one focusing on a specific class. That way I go to try out all the low level unlocks and pick my favorite. Engy and the sweet sweet Pilum.

I hope they do away with the ingeniously named "hardcore" mode. Choose something and stick with it.

Myself, probably recon absolute first, then engy... and about equal in the long run.
If its like other BF games, don't be surprised if I don't always roll with a long barrel as recon. I've been rocking M95ES/SPAS-12 about equally in BF P4F on my recon. When my recon hit level 20 (max) my engineer was level 15... so I tend to have a fairly equal split in playtime, recon is just faster points. (Especially going boom-headshot-+300 range-reload-boom-headshot-+318 range-reload-boom...)Comment
