Battlefield 3 Alpha impressions

They should have this worked out by the time the game comes out, and probably before the beta.

I plan to buy a new video card shortly before BF3 is released. If there are still problems, I may have to switch to ATI!

From what I know, this game HATES nVidia cards...

They really have to fix that in a few months..

I think its really odd alot of people are saying this. There was a tweet from one of their developers and the GTX580 they got. I think it was given free if I recall





I thought the PC's running in the E3 were all Nvidia but repii said they also used AMD

It is weird...

The VAST majority of constant lockups and crashes are nVidia cards.

I'm a big and long time nVidia fan, not likely to change soon.

Well it's something they must fix or they are screwed, unless this game performs some kind of sex act you can forget people tossing out their Nvidia cards just to play it and you can also forget people tossing their $$ for a game that wont work on their PC.


I see as the first test to see how well they can fix issues because we all know there will be some the will need attention. The commander spam hack and lag with Titan movement are two thing that come to mind that never were addressed.

It just makes you think. nVidia users are way more than AMD users by my personal count. How can you not install the game on your own testing rigs before releasing an alpha. Yes, it is an Alpha, but this is a public Alpha, it isn't just for your developers.

Hmm. was gonna buy a new Nvidia card before this cranked up. Hope they get it worked out. I'm not opposed to buying an ATI card but didnt want to if I didnt have to.

They gotta get this fixed or it will backfire for sure on the PC. Surely they have plans or are working on this as we type.

you just have to invite "those friends" to COM CENTER on your Battlelog and you can VOICE COM from there.

Well, they should have released it... No point in keeping it and making your few alpha users suffer. You know how good it feels to get into that game? Just to be disappointed reading a 1000 post thread on the forums from nVidia users.

I hope people are expressing this idea. They need a built-in ability to VOIP with anyone who joins the game, not just people on a separate list someplace.
