Can one make "gifts" on the Origin platform?

Is it possible on the Origin platform to make game gifts to other people?
Like it is on steam for instance?

I'm asking because I'd like to get a non german LE version of the game. As I don't want to end up with a censored version.

Anyone that could help me out or knows an alternative is welcome...

Haven't read anything official about that yet. - Normally they reduce gore, cut out ragdoll animations and stuff like that. You also get bad voice acting for free.

What you can do is get someone here in the U.S. (Or Germany) to log into your account, purchase it for you and then you're set.

can't you just go over the border?
I don't know what area you are in, but when I lived in Koln it was only 1 1/2 hours of a drive to the border.

Might order a hard copy from amazon.uk... Why don't they let people preorder from steam...
