How are you guys changing your Origin names?

Cain, I already got you as cainslair on my friends in Origin, but if you want to change it you have to log into your EA account and go through support/contact. It should give you and option to chat with a person at that time. Tell them what you want and they'll verify you are who you say you are then change your EA Master ID to what you want.

Be advised, you wont be able to change it to anything that you have previously used. They will tell you not available. Even if it's one of your old names they are looking at. Dont even try to argue. Just pick one you want apart from your old ones.

You can try anything you want but just be aware that they will probably tell you that you cant use something they already have on you. So pick something you like, and that we can all see and know.

On your origin box click on the gear Icon at the top , then add friends. A box will pop up and you type in the name of the friend you want to search for. When they show up from the search, under their avatar you'll see , send friend request. Then you're done.

By the way , I couldnt find your name when I searched. Is that your Origin name you have at the top right of your Origin game page.

It is. Actually it's my EA Master ID carried over from my EA login. I logged into Origin with my email address and it accepted the same password as my EA login, so it looks like they merged my info.
If there's a client like steam that I'm supposed to have, i don't have it and I can't find it on origin's website. Link?

For some time yesterday the search function wasn't working. I couldn't even find people I had already made Origin friends. This thing is going to suck.
