I cannot bind keys, or for example to put melee on the mouse. Weapons are unrealistic. RPG is useless , snipers are overpowered.
Bummer about the keys; I'll have to see what they expect us to use. You would think the menu wouldn't be broken. RPG I imagine is more useless unless there are two or more soldiers on a squad attacking a tank at the same time. Snipers... well if they're good marksmen, they are powerful for sure Heard something about a killcam which may or may not make them too effective though.
I got mine but wont be on till HW is done. Hopes are not high for this. Interesting though I got mine because of MOH not the preorder from origin. This makes me wonder.
We work in the dark, to serve the light. We are Assassins. Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.
Did not the beta for BF2 also not allow key binds?

Where do you put the Bayonet?

I am all in favor of keeping dangerous weapons out of the hands of fools. Lets start with typewriters.

Does anyone have firm information as to whether the release game will support key binds? I'm a little worried they're not in a beta, as I can see no real reason not to have that ability in there.
Not being able to rebind will be an absolute deal-breaker for me. It would be nice to confirm such support (or lack thereof, so I can cancel my preorder) prior to the release date.
As I recall you weren't able to bind anything to the mouse in the BC2 beta as well. You would think that a game made for PCs would have this ability from the very start.
Key bids in the Beta are working fine, but I was unable to bind keys to my mouse..
Have you figured out how to unbind keys at all? My joystick was plugged in when I first went in-game and it mapped every fucking bind to some random button or wheel on my joystick... Now I can't have it plugged in or the game is unplayable. I wanted to clear these binds but can't figure out how.
And yes, I am having to create a seperate profile for my logitech mouse to turn on when in game so the buttons emulate key presses.
Still getting some things figured out before I can even go in game...

It would moot the game for me as well. I can't imagine a shooter without binds...I'd just write off the purchase as a charitable donation and move on.
so wait... this is gonna be a problem for me... i actually use my mouse 1 button to move forward....
I am using my logitech mouse software to map the extra keys (the main 2 and the scroll wheel work) to keys like []';, then binding those as keyboard mappings. I will let you know how it goes.
Well, I finally made my back to the lair! I hope fortune has blessed everyone this new year! I've got some updates, dad (Todd98 )is over 60....yall send...
