His mobo might not fit ddr3 if he is currently using ddr2.

Sure, I would love some...but bacon is right. M3A78-EM board is DDR2 only. I have been checking out new MBs, but have yet to place an order. The CPU is an AM3, which will drop easily into a new board. Antec Neo 620C PSU is good to go for upgrade too, as it has the 4+4 CPU connector. All I need is the mb and ddr3. Kind of waiting for Black Friday deals, to see if I can nab a new mb with a deep discount.
