This thing has got to be the most annoying add on since marty in cod4. Aside from it announcing where you are for everyone, is it more likely to be used to a) have an enemy blind you at close range so they can shoot you -or- b) have your idiot team mate turn around and shine it right in your eyes from 2 feet away.
