Battlefield 3's Break Time

According to Battlelog, I have clocked in just about 16 hours ingame since the Beta came out. That's an average of 4 hours a day. Which leads me to believe this thing is broken, I've played more. But hey, I am now level 40. I played a whole lot and I even "fell sick" with sore throat and took 3 days off work because I couldn't stop playing. Anyways. I've been watching a ton of youtube videos on all the weapons and unlocks and thought I should make one too. For the people who didn't rank quickly or are busy ranking in other classes that aren't Recon. Here we got 2 clips of one M40A5 sniper rifle unlocked at level 20 and the M98B (I thought it was a 50 cal, game says it isn't) which I unlocked at level 32. The third and last video of the new MAV drone that basically only spots people. Not sure if you can put rockets on it later on. It really makes you think about how Dice decides give the most team-work-related device like that to a Sniper.

It looks like you are manually spotting with the drone. This could make the recon more useful and able to be better in a squad. It seems like they did this the same with the Assault kit.

Yeah it is all manual. Press space to climb, which was hella confusing. The second part of the clip is the ending to a match which I only got 350 points. 10 points for each Spot assist. I assisted in 35 deaths lol

It's a great way to just chill out up there. No one ever looks up in BF3.

wonder what happens when a jet runs into it or when you parachute down on it ..... they used to kill you or you can ride it as in BF2.

I thought it was interesting seeing people in IR. If they put weapons on that thing it'll be deadly.
I wonder if they're leaving spotting in HC?

The firefights viewed from the drone are pretty sweet. Nice sniping KP.

You can put C4 on the MAV and have it blow people up Fun little game to try.

Do you like any of the later sniper rifles? I unlocked them all and nothing for me owns like the beginner rifles since they're semi auto. I know that's how they're supposed to work, but the reload after every shot ruins them. Maybe on something other than rush metro the later ones would be great.

The M40 is amazing, the M98 is even more amazing. The whole zooming out to reload thing is great for me. You never want to be scoped in unless you are going for the kill. You need to know what's going on around you.

The attachment that lets you stay scoped is called a Straight Pull "thingi" but it is broken in the beta and doesn't work. I still scope out every shot though.
