Real bullets drop why not in the game too?
        You just have to compensate.

I would have thought he would be good at compensating already.

From the like 7 minutes of choppy tank time I had last night, the drop was exactly what I would have expected having played both BF2 and BFBC:2. I killed the only tank I came across and pegged a guy at the top of a hill a hundred yards away.

Just have to accept that they aren't going to give us real life accuracy with armor, unlike say UT2k4 ONS. Too easy in this sort of game if we just have to align the crosshairs and pull the trigger--a'la a true modern tank which auto-compensates for every possible effect to control hits out to absurd distances.

I'm sorry, there is real bullet drop, yes. But the way they made it ingame is in no way realistic. You have to compensate a whole meter if you are shooting something over 50 meters away. This isn't a paintball gun. Bullets traveling that quick do not drop to the ground in 200 meters. They just don't.

I wonder if it makes a difference if you have a suppressor on too?
Also, regarding the tanks, in the "Thunder Run" footage that was released pre-beta, the tanks looked like they lining up the crosshairs directly on the target and nailing them. i.e. auto compensation. I was wondering if it would carry over to the multi player but it looks like it doesn't.

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
