Maps for BF3

Well, to give you an idea, I did play one of those "hacked" servers on accident, and it was running Metro in conquest mode. It was laggy due to people firing automatic RPG's, but I managed to capture some points which comprised of a few of the buildings on the outside (street) level, subway areas, etc. Deploy points were comprised of the last defenders spawn point (in reference to Rush) and the other was the first attackers spawn point.

It may be fun until the buildings' walls get blown to smithereens, then you'll have a hard time capturing points as you run up the stairs.
Alas, no vehicles on that map.

I think everyone "may" hate the map though!

Seems to remind me of one of the maps on 2142.

vanilla BF3 seems to be near perfect. Minus the kill cam.

Agreed. You don't need to put a whole mag in folks, and there aren't too many one shot kills.

I have to agree with Slice and Skud. I am liking Vanilla if BF3 is the same as the Beta.

Is it me or is it really hard to see people in BF3? Either their camo is better or more real, or my graphics settings are too contrasty. If someone is in a shadow it's almost impossible to see him until it's too late.

I think it is much more real. Because you always see someone when moving.

It's probably more real, but also more annoying. In the few times I did play, I would be crawing around prone trying to get into a position, and some guy who had literally done nothing but crawl across the entire map popped me, and went slithering away in the killcam.

From one perspective, it's funny. From another, it's easily exploitable and is going to be far worse than simple dolphin-diving.

Im interested in the Highway map....if it is anything like the addon map for BF2, it will be INSANE

I couldn't agree more. I don't want to play HC in BF3. HC and BF shouldn't belong togther.

According to the date each SP and COOP map will feature an Easy, Medium, Hard and Hardcore mode, whilst Multiplayer will feature a General (normal) and Hardcore mode. So Battlefield 3 will feature 10 Multiplayer Maps along with 4 Expansion Maps, 10 Single player Maps and 10 Co-operative maps apparently..
