Karkand DLC server???

So, the news is that the Back to Karkand DLC is going to be like Vietnam for BC2.

What are the chances of running another server for Back to Karkand?

think Cain already said he's getting 2 servers, hopefully one of those servers can be switched to the DLC when its released.

From what i hear we won't be getting the DLC on the day of the release of BF3 but a couple of weeks after. But ill be on there the very first day, I'm excited to play the old school maps with new destruction and redesign

Kinda wish they could give us a bird eye view of Omen like they did with previewing Wake Island

Any official link for this? I'm skeptical. When they introduced Vietnam for BC2, they did it to revive the game (10 months after release).

I think BF3's Karkand DLC is just a map pack intended to push us to preorder.

Someone from DICE compared it to Vietnam. Said it was a full expansion like the Vietnam pack. That's where the confusion comes in.
I could see him meaning that it's not just a map pack, that it includes different weapons and vehicles. I saw something before that said you can use the Karkand weapons in the vanilla game, so that also puts the kebosh on the Vietnam-ish expansion idea.

We'll just have to wait and see...

true karkand kinda made a push for us to pre order it, that and there was a huge community push for the old school maps to be republished when and if BF3 was going to be released, its kinda something people have been asking for for a long time, more so after BC2 because of the new engine
