This is because the other methods use email
Very sad to read about vanilla. I hope, that with time, it will be the popular spot. I, personally, will be sitting in vanilla once I get home. DaTweek will join me and so will Reaper by tomorrow (maybe even Bliss - yeah Bliss I'm calling you out!). I hope other will too.

Don't be sad. I really disliked HC BC2, but so far I am preferring HC BF3. Check it out tonight, I think you folks will also enjoy it.
Preferring HC because it doesn't take 3 shots with a sniper or half the mag with the base assault rifles. Was on there for a while and think i'd pretty much be in love with a 24/7 Sienne Crossing 64player HC server whether infantry only or not.
Yeah i didn't enjoy HC BC2 mostly because of the lack of the mini map, Not being able to see my heath or ammo doesn't bother me to much, Though i would like it if they would put the default clip size of the gun in the customize screen instead of having to look on battlelog
That's one of the big problems IMO. In BC2, it felt like there was too high a percentage of snipers because of that attitude. All the sniper kiddies flocked to HC mode.
And the team with the most snipers typically lost. So 2 teams of mostly snipers was incredibly boring to me since most were not even trying to complete the objectives of rush or holding a conquest node. Seemed to be just a fancified death match.
As far as non-sniper combat, I had no trouble taking people down in regular BC2. I always aim for the head no matter how far away I am. Lots of headshots
