Caspian is my overall fave so far I think.
Damavand Peak (aka The Tunnel Map) - This is a rush mode map and I pretty much hate it.
Grand Bazaar is my fave city map.
Noshahr (Nosehair) Canals (aka the map that the US starts on the ship) - Meh. It's a map.
Seine Crossing is a pretty good map but I don't care for the 2 bridges and the river in the middle. I guess jumping off a bridge is bad luck.
Tehran Highway is nice. I like the night setting and it has a good mix of armor & infantry.

Last night I had to laugh when Rand mentioned that all of his least favorite (hated) maps were back to back.

metro was better as a rush map then a conquest map. They left out the whole starting section which makes the map smaller .

Seine crossing and Caspian border. I could just play those two all day...

              This.

I wasn't the only one who didn't find particular points to love about the grouping of large vs. small maps. I'd LOVE to see more of a mix, particularly if I get in after a reboot and end up having to leave before the smaller maps come up.

              Firestorm-Tunnel-Canal/port-Island is just brutal man.

I played Bazaar for the first time last night on server 1, and that map is crazy fun. That, Seine Crossing, and Caspian are the best maps so far. Others may grow on me.

I thought it may be interesting to see the designers.

                1. Caspian Border / Level Designer: Diego Jimenez
                2. Damavand Peak / Level Designer: Niklas Astrand
                3. Grand Bazaar / Level Designer: Niklas Astrand
                4. Kharg Island / Level Designer: Inge Joran Holberg
                5. Noshahar Canals / Level Designer: Niklas Astrand
                6. Operation Firestorm / Level Designer: Inge Joran Holberg
                7. Operation Metro / Level Designer: Inge Joran Holberg
                8. Seine Crossing / Level Designer: Diego Jimenez
                9. Tehran Highway / Level Designer: Niklas Astrand

Based on my preferences so far, this Diego Jimenez cat is brilliant.

I thought there was a chance the maps I dislike were by the same guy, but it's a mix of Astrand and Holberg.

Right now I am just enjoying the game and trying to figure everything out. I'll hold off judgment until I settle into the game a bit more.

The bolded ones I like and willing to play. Of course Caspian and Seine are my favs.

I have yet to play Firestorm for some reason. But I know for sure Metro and Damavand is no bueno.

Grand Bazzar is my favorite map, love the small, secluded close combat style of fighting. It sorta reminds me of strike at karkand from bf2.

Still you've got the armor whores camping but it's easier to take them down

I like them all but metro. Played that map too much during alpha n beta lol. Damavand Peak is not bad. It's challenging so its a great map for "teamwork"

I really like the grand bazzar. If you can't get them one way take a tunnel and take them out elsewhere. Very good fire fights and makes you think around someone elses defense.

                                1. Caspian Border - Fine by me as big map. I use vehicles on it.
                                2. Damavand Peak - If this is the tunnel map, throw it out.
                                3. Grand Bazaar - Fun but a lot of camping spots make it VERY hard to push/counter.
                                4. Kharg Island - It is okay...
                                5. Noshahar Canals - Throw this garbage out the window.
                                6. Operation Firestorm - Way too much vehicles...I find that squads don't work together as well on this map.
                                7. Operation Metro - Spam fest but fun AND people leave often during this map.
                                8. Seine Crossing - BEST MAP IN THE WORLD AND I WILL BE FINDING A SERVER THAT RUNS THIS 24/7.
                                9. Tehran Highway - Fun but snipers heaven. Narrow and they can camp from their base/1st capture point and snipe the rest of the map without putting themselves in danger at all.
