TeamSpeak Recommendation

I really enjoyed talking to everyone last night, but it is very difficult to play BF3 when they have 3 conversations going on at the same time. Lots of people are having issues with the game running properly and I understand that as I'm one of them.

I'd like to recommend that the Server Number # channels be for "playing only." Meaning, if you are in that channel, then you are there to communicate with your teammates and enjoy the game. If you are in that channel, that means you are in game and playing.

I think this will help because last night most of the people who were talking were not in game or complaining about their game not working. Look, I understand how frustrating that is as I've been crashing too, but please don't ruin everyone elses fun by making it impossible for people to work together because you are hogging TeamSpeak. If you need help, just ask someone to join you in the Lobby channel.

I know most of this will go away once some good server tools become available to auto-move people in TS, but for the time being please be mindful of how much you talk in TS and your content as it relates to what's going on.

Additionally, can we get a couple of team-specific channels under each server? I understand if the plugin isn't able to auto-move us yet, but it would still be useful for moving ourselves. There has just been so many people on lately, that it's been hard to keep track of who's on what team.

/signed lol. I agree. Not that I don't love getting intel on where the enemy is headed but the chat can be overwhelming at times.

I only did that once, in BFBC2. And I really did think we were on the same team, until I killed you.

I may make two manual team channels until our TS plugin works again. Guys talking about configs setups etc should go to the lobby.

Having guys on the other team on the same channel discourages tactical chatter and encourages blabbing and taunting.

Also we need to be on squad channels like BF2, otherwise team play is tough.

I know there is a way to connect to and talk to anyone you'd like in Battlelog, that may be the answer for the folks who like to talk about non-tactical aspects of the game.



I want TS to be the replacement for what we had in BF2 and 2142.

I think we should be having a Taunt channel. This allows those who want to taunt in the same game can.

The lack of squad specific communications is really limiting to the tactics of the game. I love the chatter but it does very little to help win the round. It was fun yesterday to hear the guys who tried to ram my mobile AA with a jet yelling "How did we not get him!?" though.

I think there should be different channels, a couple for tatics only and one for idle chit chat. If you want to taunt you could always set up a whisper button that can speak to different channels.

I have also been wondering lately if its possible to be on two ts servers at the same time.maybe you could have one with a plug in and another that has manual channels.
