You should probably replace the Kharg Island map with the Canal map. That island map is a sniper fest worse than the rest. That plus you really dont get many kills because of the distance between everything. The Canal map isnt quite as big and easier to get around without being sniped.

I was talking to an admin (who I think was Cain) when the server crashed this morning. It was kind of a shame, since I got about 2k jet points and unlocked the radar (or whatever comes after the useless missiles).

It appeared the map was "Operation Firestorm". I personally am not a fan of that map at all. It reminds me of those maps in BF2 where if you weren't in a vehicle you were at a huge disadvantage, rather than being in a vehicle being an advantage. It's nice to have it be fairly open for jets, but the AA vehicle can relatively control the skies for the entire map due to it being open, and a lot of people think there is an enemy jet on them so they fly in circles trying to evade but end up getting shot anyways. Not to mention it spawns the most tanks.

For my personal likes are small to medium maps where infantry rule. I like Bazaar quite a bit. I'm not too much of a fan of the Seine crossings map, but I do like that it can have it's fun battles.

I don't get why people like Caspian. It's basically a small map with lots of room to fly. It has all this open area in it but all the outposts are really bunched up together.

Operation Metro is a map that really should never be added to any server with 64 players. It's only good for getting lots of heal/revives/supply points.

I think my favorites, even though I already stated my later ones, are....

1) Whatever Peak
2) Kharg Island
3) Seine Crossing
4) Uh... don't really care.


Ultimately, I just can't wait until they release the Karkand expansion. Oman, Sharqi, and Karkand were by far my favorite maps in BF2. And they're coming back!
